Each Lutheran Marriage Encounter (LME) Weekend consists of a series of talks given in a conference room by Weekend leadership couples, including a clergy couple.  The talks center on various aspects of a marriage relationship.  After each talk, you return to your hotel room and have your own private communication on that topic ― just the two of you.

There is no required sharing of details of your relationship or any other personal information with others on the Weekend.

The Weekend follows a format prescribed by Worldwide Marriage Encounter which enables you, as a couple, to focus solely on your own relationship.  The program progresses from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Therefore, it is important that you take part in the entire Weekend in order to gain maximum benefit to your marriage relationship.

Your hotel room and meals are prearranged by us for you.  You will have three meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and two meals on Sunday (breakfast and noon dinner).  No meals are provided on Friday.

Dietary requirements will be accommodated by the hotel, per their capability, provided that such needs are so noted on the application form. Special diets have not been a problem in the past.
